|
|
Hey ya all---I just got from Crescent Bar, WA. ----the best water I've ever rode on ever. And I landed my first tantrum and first backroll back-to-back, talk about luck. Just saying thanks for all your tips and hints on the tricks and such. So my question is what trick should I attempt next? After I landed those two I tried a front roll and almost landed it (first time trying), I heard those were easy. So excluding the front roll, what trick should I prioritize next? I can get good air and TS and HS and have mastered 180's. Thanks!!! |

I'd go roll to revert, just let go of the handle with your front hand while inverted and you should come around switch.
Maybe a front roll though, whatever you do, good luck man! _________________ Alaska: Where the men are men and the women are men. |

Jumalian said it, land a HS or TS 360 and move on from there.
FS or BS it don't matter, if you can't spin you have no real wakeboard skillz, you are just a gymnast on water.
It's all about board control, some cat's have it some don't.

I would say 360s and TS Backrolls.
Can you do 180s every way? FS BS TS HS then learn them switch |

Good call chubby, switch TS BS 180's are almost impossible for us mere mortals.
I can't even jump the wake switch TS let alone pull it into BS 180... I think want2ride was being just to general. _________________ PEACE

| IMHO- Switch TS BS 180's are easier than regular TS BS 180's. Not saying that they are easy, just easier switch than regular. Oh yeah, I can't take them wake 2 wake, just inside out. |

I'd say get your 180's and your grabbed 180's down, because with those tricks you can really branch out and start to throw grabs and spins with your flips. _________________ Do it to it Lars |

there are many tricks you should be learning, master grabbed 180's to blind IMO those are some of the sweetest simpelest tricks there are.
Remember: Spin To Win
, im trying scarecrows and they look like TS S-bends because i do them sloppy and laid out rather then a frontroll then throw in the 180. I think it still looks pretty cool and the way i do it, it would be much easier to progress to a crow mobe, but i wont be learning that anytime soon |

Brian B--- actually you will find it easier to take the scarecrow to mobe if you do the front roll style crow. Mainly cuz you are rotating around the handle more and it's real close to the body on the roll style crow, meaning taking it to blind will be an easier pull.
If you get all laid out S-bend style you not only need to pull your feet back under you but you will also need to pull real hard to initiate the last blind spin.
A common rule to follow is if you can't grab the scarecrow you aint' gonna be able to take it to mobe. I know it's easier to grab the front roll style crow as apposed to the laid out s-bend style as fact. _________________ PEACE
