I love doing off axis 3's off the d-up.
1) keep your eyes on the roller you want to hit, I usually get the 2nd one because its really consistent and easy to hit.
2) You dont ahve to come into the wake screaming, I take a really mellow cut - if you hit it right youll be able to clear both wakes with very little speed.
3) Absorb the first roller(s) with your knees, ride up the spike and prepare to get launched...
Dropping something off the double up is probably the most thrilling experience in wakeboarding (to me) _________________ http://www.wakepics.com/view_single.php?medid=16993 one of few trips i got to make to the lake this year |

| As far as flat spins, you want to make sure you edge up the wake, that's what keeps you on axis. You don't want to rush the spin, as you have plenty of time if you connect with it well. Just grab it and go nice n slow. |

um, POP, PULL, PASS just like any other spin.
How do you do a roll to revert off the D-up, um, basically the same way you would of the regular wake.
You just need to be able to hit the D-up consistently.
Fauker makes a great point, go for the 2nd D-up and cut in nice and slow and don't start out too wide. _________________ PEACE

i think it takes time getting used to it. I've only tried a double up a few times and when i've hit the second roller, i've felt the power of it but just haven't gotten the pop. its my fault because i wasn't edging...i'll just have to get used to it. the double up on our boat isn't great and i won't be using it that much, but its fun to mess around with it. it takes lots of practice to get the timeing down _________________ Alaska: Where the men are men and the women are men. |
