I ride the parks finless and love it, its so much more forgiving and if u now how to cut u dont have to really have the fins to help.

Riding finless depends on the board you are wanting to ride or riding. My 03 byerly is designed so you can ride it w/out as well as many other boards. Some boards have to be riden with fins. I like it with out the fins because the board just reacts better for me.

the substance rides great without the fins, i am getting one today and plan to ride without them. It will help you learn to cut if you are a beginner, and if not, it will help you land not so perfect landings.

i ride a BS five 0 not because its a great board but because i got one on sale for 170 bucks brand new haha. i like it with the fins but when you take em off it slides like a Lil' Sis and you cant controll it at all. i can cut and all with it but the board slips out on landings a lot. i do like doing 720s and stuff on the water though. ive never ridden a park before but i'm goin to ttry in about a week should i ride it finless even though ihave no molded in fins or anything???

I have a Hyperlite Juvi and i took the fins off and it's super loose and squirley. It makes it really hard b/c it just slides around if you try to turn too hard. You really have to dig in to do anything.

Never tried w/ no fins, but it seems like it would be fun every once in a while. I don't think I'd ride it normally though.

Yeah it kinda matters like big mac said. My board doesnt have molded in fins so i cant ride it finless. But i do want to get smaller fins so it will break loose easier but it will still track better and hold a little better on the landings. If i have a board with two molded-in fins on each side i would probable ride it finless because it would track a little too well with the center fins.

I've ridden my buddy's LF helix and i ride LF rythm. I prefer to ride with the fins. It allos you to cut so much harder. my buddy trashed his bindings and has been riding my board and he is going to get rid of his helix b/c he likes the fins so much better. Fins or without it just depends on your style of riding. Finless is more forgiving but you can't cut nearly as strong without the fins.
