I just got new ultras, I wear a size 8 and go the smalls cause I like them tight as can be. I have been using shampoo which always worked well on my old bindings, but it seems to make these sticky when you are trying to get out. It is a mother to get out. The first day it took me like 10 minutes and a almost sprained ankle to get the damn things off. Has anybody used conditioner. I thought that might work better since it leave your hair smoother and not dry. I don't like shaving cream cause it does the same thing as the soap does.

the bindings will loosen up soon enough. But i'm thinking maybe mediums would fit better for you, are you sure they're not too tight?

I tried on the mediums and they fit perfect but I knew they would loosen up so I went with the small. My old ultras I had cranked down but they finally broke this year. They were the original green ones from 99. I am not too concerned about them breaking in I just want to know if conditioner will help them from being so sticky. It is like your foot is glued to it. I want it too wash out so I am not slipping around, but leave the foot beds smooth.

what kind of shampoo are you using? I use the cheap suave kind, there is no stickyness, or slipping. also make sure you submerge the bindings in water BEFORE using the shampoo.
