|
|
Everytime I try a backroll, I under rotate. I have tried maybe 50 times and its the SAME thing over and over. I even went and paid 300 bucks for an instructor to help me out and it helped me NONE. He coudlnt even tell me what I was doing wrong.
My question is this, when you pop, do you HUCK this flip HARD. I dont huck it hard, I kinda just throw my neck down to my back foot, well, head and shoulders but not HARD. Should I throw it real hard like a back or front flip on a tramp? Help me out here! |

naw dude dont huck it. just cut in at a pretty good speed and you want to be totally perpendicular to the wake when you hit it. when you are just leaving the wake lean back and look over your leading shoulder. the wake will throw you the rest. DONT PUSS OUT! you want to pop off the wake the same as if you were going to do a wake 2 wake jump if not more. ohh and if that doesnt help go buy DETENTION 1&2 that is my bible _________________ Chevrolet for Life |

| Everything your doing sounds good dont forget to hold that edge all the way dont try too early or you wont get as high and you will probly under rotate also it helps to hold the handle close to your waste. About the extended legs, I think it looks tight cuz it shows how high you are but it will deffinitly make it harder to rotate. Good luck |

| hey i'm just learning how to backflip too. i dont have a trampoline but what i did befroe i even tried the trick was go to a pool and just do backflips off the diving board and then i went to my friends and did them on his tramp for a really long time with a rope tied to a tree. i pretty much rotated it my first try on the water. all you have to do is the same thing you do off a diving board or tramp. what i do is cut in hard as a bitch like i'm trying to clear the wake but then kind of make myself more parallel with the wake and then just ball up as tight as i can and usually let go with my right hand and throw in an indy grab. i have to ball up cuz i dont get that much air riding behind my boston whaler.... i'm still new at this though does anyone who is better than me have a few tips?? |

Backroll looks like a cartwheel and has a tip over tail rotation. A tantrum actually looks like a laid out backflip and has an edge over edge rotation. _________________ If you're scared say you're scared |
