Every now and again I would try a pete, but jsut recently I tried one method grabbed like my regular ts roll to rev. and Ive gotten whre I can get all the way around on it...

I can get the entire rotation and land wrapped, but I cant quite ride it out.

Anybody here doing these got some tips? Or do I just need to keep doing it and get used to having to pull the handle hard and keep it in as tight as possible?

let me add that I tried learning the trick without the grab and was nowhere near it. Its much easier with the grab... Im rotating the whole thing now, i think im just goin to need to maximize the pop and keep that handle in tight.

Surely someone on here is landing them???

No, we're all nerds, the real wakeboarders are at the lake right now...

I'm, assuming you've tried these extensively on the tramp. Apparently that helps a lot. My friend is in the same position you are with the pete.

yeah, I learned them a while back on the tramp - I can do pete 5's. On the tramp grabbing doesnt really make a difference, but on the water it helps me a ton. It could be because I get antsy and wanna make that handle pass really early and the grab makes me wait...

Id really like to have this trick before our competition this weekend Colorful

If you are landing them wrapped, then try and keep you arm bent at a 90º. This will keep the handle as close to your hip as can be, and then try landing with weight on you toe edge. These two things will help you stay balanced on the landing and keep you from being pulled back onto your butt.

It's worth a try right? Have fun and good luck.

i just learned how to do them switch. its alot easier. it takes a while to learn how to do it. but i learned switch riding rite when i started wakeboarding so it is a second nature. but when u land just try to switch out of the wrapped position as soon as possible. because that pulling will kidna screw u up.

thanks josh me too Very Happy

I think my biggest problem is just not beuing fully aware of where Im at, and that just comes from lack of experience...

wow wakestar, not many people do x-mobes. Personally I cant do much switch, so an x-mobe is out of the question. But props - thats a rarity...
