Anyone have any secrets/tips? I know to wait to pull the handle until at the peak of the jump, or even on the way down. Is there anything else I should think of, or is there a secret to makin' the attempts less painful? Embarassed

I'm trying to learn these as well. I've got them down coming off the inside of the wake but haven't had anyluck wake to wake. Have you tried them inside-out? I hear the landing is the same.

Yeah, I've tried and landed 'em that way. It's just when I've tried goin' w2w that I got worked. One time, I bruised a lung and ribs! I'm not sure I wanna do that again! Laughing

Yea, those are hard. Hard falls. I think it is very important to keep your head up and looking at the horizon, like on a 3, so you don't nose dive.

My ribs are really brused from trying one of these the other day, I think the trick is to land really far on your toes. At least that is what I need to do.

Do them in flats and inside out to get the pass perfected. Then take them w2w. I pass the handle a lot early then described so I can get my weight and balance before I land. Land way far bavck and out on your toes. My front leg is straight and back is super bent when I land. It also helps to have your FS 180's really really dialed to help with the landing.
