ok, I'll break it down for you:
okay you're gonna progressively edge into the wake. stay on you're edge, and try and edge right up the wake and away from the boat. Look over your front shoulder, up and away from the boat. Your board will follow. Keep the rope in tight. If you let go, you're gonna kill your rotation, because you're rotating around the rope. Hang on with both hands, the landing is easy to spot, so just absorb the impact, and BAM! a backroll. easy.
the important thing to remember here is that you're not trying to huck the flip, you're letting the wake do all the work. If you just leave it up to the wake, you'll nail it no prob. just keep those eyes open and don't be afraid _________________ The consciousness of self is the greatest hindrance to the proper execution of all physical action.

I was watching Detention and Sean said it was the most relaxed flip you will ever do and so I have tried it many times and can land them but I always let go of the rope.. Here is what he said to do and it works for me.. Go out like like a normal HS w2w and then when you got to the top of the wake point your board at the boat wait until it releases from the water and pushes you into the air then just lean back.. That's exactly what Sean said to do and it works great.. The only problem I had (other then letting go of the rope) is that you need to be in the air before you do it, I found myself trying to rush it and hit the water hard.. You have to make sure your in the air before you do it! _________________ "The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

good point ckligor, don't rush it. Sounds to me like you are not getting enough air for one Diva. Take a good cut at the wake, turn your front shoulder toward the boat and try to throw your head up and back when you get to the top of the wake. Stay laid out to prevent the knee to the head. You'll know you're getting close if you start landing on your stomach side or on your toes. Just keep at it and don't get frustrated. _________________ If you're scared say you're scared |

Can you do the Tantrum on the tramp?
You can't land when you can't see, keep them eye's open, duh I know you know that but it had to be said.
The wake should actually kick the board up and over so your knee hitting you in the face is a classic sing of you tryn to huck the trick off the wake before the wake boots you in the air, hence you are pulling/sucking your legs into your body to complete the rotation and it's not working.
WAIT FOR THE WAKE ON THIS ONE, that's what make it easy.
Are you really a wakediva? post a pic, we will tell you for sure. _________________ PEACE
