I'm with Carbo. I learned a backroll first, but I learned a Tantrum quicker. About 20 tries for the backroll and I hit the Tantrum first try. Just try both and whatever you are closer on or feel more comfortable with, go with that. It's that simple. Later...

good luck, landing your first invert is one of the greatest feelings ever. i wish i could do it again.
