| i've been wakeboarding for a couple years, i can land a 360 and am comfortable with w2w jumps. and i'm hoping to progress to tougher tricks, i think i have enough air, but my problem is i'm not comfortable with the back roll motion, i've tried it on a trampoline, off a diving board and can't seem to get it, it's really weird i know, but do u have any suggestions on how i could get this down? thanks |

Are you looking down just before you go totally upside down? If so, DON'T DO THAT. It will twist you up and stop your rotation.
Realize that you will see what's in front of you, then the sky, then what was behind you, then the landing, then what's in front of you again. Don't be afraid of that. |

| I can do backrolls and tantrums both and I would say tantrums are harder because your rotation goes away from the wake as opposed to with it. Both trick are pretty easy though and the falls are not that bad, so if you want to try it just sac up and do it. Oh yeah with tantrums letting go with your back hand is crucial so dont forget. |
