|
|
I built a slider a couple of weekends ago and found out that my parents and their friends had a little problem with me storing a floating 30' slider in front of their house. I'm looking for someone to maybe take it off my hands for around $500 bucks (Price Flexible). It's built like a brick $hithouse and should last longer than my house will. Made of all pressure treated wood in the frame, 1/2 inch plywood painted with HIGH gloss paint acts like a slide for a smooth ride back to the water if falling, and stainless screws that will keep it all together even if sitting in the water all year. It's a table top slider with 2 - 3" PVC pipes running up the 8.5' ramp, across the 12' table top, and back down another 8.5' ramp. At the highest point it's only 3' high and is great for beginners to advanced riders. If anyone is interested please let me know. I'll bring back a picture on Monday 7-14-03 to e-mail to interested buyers. I haven't even ridden it yet (will be the first time this weekend) so you don't have to worry about it being thrashed! I'll post a follow up on Monday and let everyone know how it rides.
Thanks!

| So here's the follow up picture: Rides great, doesn't move in rollers, and is portable, what else could you ask for. Comes with 4 anchors. I'm looking for someone to take his off my hands, who is actually located relatively close to me. People in the NOR*CAL area write me if interested. |

| I have a house on the water, so at the moment I have no need to transport out of water. In water I just tow it, obviously, then anchor it wherever I want. As for mounting wheels and a hitch, it would be very very easy. |

| How did you go about building that slider? If it's possible could you tell a good plan to get a project like that started? |

I believe this topic is about BUYING a slider, not talking about plans so lets get back on track..............
Hey, I would but I have no money, If you still have it in 3 months (which is when I'll finally have money) Shoot me a PM or EMAIL.
Thanks _________________ I'm telling you its jobs,
