Worst personal injury

I've been riding for 2 years now and besides the occasional excruciating faceplant or whiplash I haven't hurt myself that bad. Last week I did catch an edge doing a ts fs 180 and my knee literally popped. I thought I'd torn a lig but i didn't. It was the most painful. I"ve heard of people on this board breaking their ribs and screwing up their knees.
What's your worst injury?

I broke my pinky toe on a toilet as I was running in to poop.

I had to poop really really bad.

a week ago i went for a 3 i got worked the board fell off and the wake must of propelled it into my face, got 2 gashes, few hours later i was stitched up and ready to go
to bad i kant board for a few weeks Crying or Very sad

worst injury- snapped the tendon off my right hand ring finger.
worst wb injury- blew my left ear drum twice.
most painful injury-road rash from my bike at 45 mph.

a minor concussion, i was learning how to ollie up onto a slider, it was the end of the day and was tired, but i wanted to show my parents what i learned, i went to do it at a higher part of the slider, and miss judged and my nose caught or something, i fell, hit my head, got knocked out for about 30 seconds, but i dont remember any of it, it felt like i was out for longer then 30 seconds, but thank god for helmets, could have been alot worse

I ripped my acl out of my tibia and I tore my lateral meniscus on both "points."

Worst injury: fractured 2 vertebrate L5 & L4.

Haven't really whacked with the board yet though. Sore neck, sore head, that's all.

I was launched 12-15ft in the air off a double up on a tube and it sprained my leg.

i was learning a front roll two years ago and when i came around i landed super hard on my board and my ass and my momentum shot my left knee straight into my mouth and i ended up biting straight through by bottom lip. i had a hole, about an inch and a half long between by bottom lip and my chin. i ended up with 23 stiches inside and outside of my mouth. luckily no teeth got knocked out. coulda been alot worse i coulda easily broken my jaw or bitten off my tongue.

and i stuck that god forsaken front roll my next time out about 2 months later.

4 stitches rite under my lip from the first time i tried a tantrum...caught an edge and fell...my knee hit my chin and put a hole tru the bitch...it hurt but its all good now...

Attempting HS 360's a few years back, I say I under rotated, others on the boat say I over rotated, any way my front foot got torn out of the binding when I landed. This tore and stretched all the tendons in my foot/ankle. I couldn't put pressure on it for over a month, and it would still pop and hurt 2 years later. I couldn't even out a sock on for 2 months. Because I couldn't board any more I decided to end my 6 month vacation and go back to work. After duct taping my ankle and trying to board again in excruciating pain (I cryed) I stopped boarding all together for 3 yrs. And I had to put off buying my motorcycle cause I couldn't shift.

My friend on her 3rd day boarding got a little HS air came down wrong and sprained her ankle and knee. She is addicted. She can't stop talkin about baording and what she is gonna do when she gets better. = a good woman!

i got my first wakeboarding injury today....i kneed myself in the eye...it's swollen shut and cut up and whatnot...i don't know how i swung that one

'97 - Complete tear of left ACL
'99 - Partial tear of left rotator cuff
'01 - 'scoped right rotator cuff
'03 - Complete tear of right ACL, meniscus

I break every 2 years and it sucks being out of warranty.

shadered my nose and put a 2 inch gash in my forehead due to knee connecting with face off a miss attempted raley. 12 stitches later and 1 nose surgery and I'm good as new. It was at the end of last year at the pro-finals in Orlando at OWC. Did it off the corner at the big cable lake.

as far as wakeboarding, 9 stitches next to my eye and a popped blood vessel, both from a flying catalyst.

snowboarding, chipped vertebra and three broken ribs. then the usual broken wrist.

Non Wakeboarding - Missed the lip on a 12' half-pipe and ended up falling 15' onto my collarbone snapped it in two. Then a month later on Christmas Day broke the same one wrestling with my brother.

wakeboarding, the odd faceplant, stiff neck, knocked out cold from hitting just water (i dont know how i managed that)

other than that, nothing serious, a few concussions, a few broken toes ...

Non-Wakeboard - got hit by a minivan (which are all evil incarnations from He!! if you ask me! Twisted Evil

) and got 4 damaged discs - L3-4, L4-5, & L5-S1 in my back, and C5-6 in my neck.

Wakeboard - Eversion sprain with minor avulsion fracture of right ankle. Just healed!

I hope that my injuries stay to a min, but I seem to jack my back up every time I do a toe side face plant. I pop a few motrin and try it again.
