| looks pretty good. i would use a light coat of fiberglass resin but then that might make it a little too heavy.

| I used polyeurothane for the whole thing then epoxy resin on the edges and it worked pretty good. Just make sure you let it dry or water can get in it an f your board up.

I would imagine he laminated the curve into the board. No idea what he used for adhesive between the two layers. That is just two layers right?? If it is I'm impressed. The board looks nice and thin. Is it 1/4" plywood or did you find something thinner? How did you get such a nice curve in it and still keep it so thin?? Nice job.

i think i'm going to use the fiberglass resin on the edges and then the polyurthene.....thats what most people have been saying.........i hope it works.
hey wakeboarder, i made a form for the wakeskate, i've attached a picture of it, and the wood i used is a 1/8th" birch good one side, in total i used 5 layers and glues it with PL premium.

Where did you find teh 1/8" birch? Most people have been using 1/4" from what I've heard. I wanted to use 1/8" for mine but couldn't really find any. Nice job. It looks really nice.

hey, you dont need to put any fiberglass on it, even on the edges. That is just unnecessary weight. If there are any spaces in the edges use household epoxy glue to fill them in then sand it back down. For the sealer, buy some kind of marine varnish and put 3 or 4 coats on it. That protects it from the sun and the water. The brand i bought was called Behr and a litre of that will do like 4 skates.
