I'm glad to say I finally landed my first invert this weekend (a tantrum)! And actually got another one at the same time (ts backroll), which I was super-stoked about. My question is if you all would suggest trying the TS Front roll befre I tried a scarecrow, or vice-versa. The rotation of the scarecrow looks more laid out in some people, and I didn't know if the order in which you learn these affects anything. Thanks

definately go for the front roll first. it will be harder but worth it. people who learn a scarecrow first have trouble with end over end rotation. it will take you a while doing a front roll first but when you get it very solid then do the scarecrow. you will land it your first time. so once again i have seen to many friends learn a scarecrow first cause its easier but they have a very fugly front roll. its like scarecrow but not. i dont know its weird. well go for the front, dont let anyone talk you into a crow.

wakedave375, Exactly what I was going to say, seriously.

I learned my front roll first, then stuck my first crow I tried. Unfortunately I let my crow slip up and get ugly, thrown out the back and that jacked up my front roll. I have them both back nice now, but that sucked. Crows that look like a front roll to 180 are way better looking.

How about this try to learn them at the same time! Do 2 crows then do 2 front rolls, you will be able to tell the differences quickly. On the FR just hold on with both hands until you can see the shoreline, make sure you flip straight at the wake, on the crow hold on for the whole thing and look over your lead shoulder flipping sideways. Have fun send crash pics!
