When i leave the wake i get thrown way off balnce when im in the air and when i land my board is way in front of me and i useally have a pretty hard butt slide. I was just wandering what i need to do before i leave the wake and when im in the air so i can have control and keep the board under me. _________________ Go big or go home |

when your edging toward the wake let off right before hitting it so the board hits the wake flat. this should keep you on balence _________________ Theres a fine line between bravery and stupidity-Johnny Knoxville |

I ahve to disagree with wakeboarder on this one, don't flatten out all that does is let off the rope tension and send u off balance, do u wonder why thats what you do to flip on a tantrum. What you want to do is pull the rope in tight to the hips and keep edgin through the wake. just keep ur arms tight to ur body _________________ ow thats gonna hurt tomorrow

Hey speed waker 25 -
Another thing that may help is to ensure you are looking at the horizon - or rather, not looking down at the water. I was getting thrown off-balance all weekend until I tried looking out at the shore, it seemed to make all the difference in the world.
I'm not a terribly exerienced rider, though, so it could have been just confidence... _________________ "Practice, man, jus' practice" - Wynton Marsalis
