not necessarily....its all about what you want to do. If you think your ready for it, go. But i don't think that you being able to land a 360 is going to effect your backroll.

Correct completely different types of tricks.
I was doing 3's before rolls but I can say now that I can do both the HS BackRoll is easier.

You actually have more things that can go wrong with a 3 than with the roll.
With that said I still find going inverted intimidating but the actual mechanics of the trick is easier than a 3.

Load the line, wait for the wake and bust it, bro....
