yank on the rope like a biatch and remeber to hold it in the small of your back while rembering to keep your other hand on the small of your back

POP, PULL, PASS....
Don't let go of the handle till you have it in the other hand.....
People think you need to spin this trick, wrong, it is not like a 540 the 3 will finish it's self as long as you pass the handle. You can actually grab the handle all stalled out facing backwards and the boat will pull you around the rest of the way, as long as you still have air time.
Did I mention the most important part...
Don't let go of the handle till you have it in the other hand.....

i was having the same problem.......what I did was get more and more angry then I finally decided just to pass the rope, regardless of taking a fall, and bam landed it.......just focus on passing the rope forget about spinning, by passing the rope you will cause your body to rotate, hence the difference between wakeboarding and snowboarding.....however, from this I soon ran into another issue, over-rotation........

What J DOGG said is right, but once you pull hard to your hip with both hands, immediately let go with your inside hand and whip your elbow around to help keep you on axis. Here's a sequence photo that may help you to figure it out. Unfortunately, the photo that shows me pulling with both hands to my hip isn't in there, but the first photo was taken a split second after I let go with my left hand. Also, I find that if you try to pass the rope under your ass (instead of behind your back), you not only get higher, but keep under control a little bit easier. Good luck man!

| i would pass by the small of your back so you don't get in a bad habit because when you pass under your butt it will be harder to progress the spin to 5's and other spins.
