As soon as I go off the wake, it feels like I'm immediately being pulled forward by the rope. Everything is good, then I hit the wake, and just get yanked forward by the rope. Is that supposed to happen? Or am I not keeping the handle in tight enough, or some other problem?

it sounds like you have the handle too high, try to keep it at your hips

Your probably standing tall too soon. This will cause the rope to jerk you towards the boat.

Make sure your rope doesn't stretch at all becuz that could also b your problem. The rope could be stretching out while your edging then as your airborn it contracts and pulls you forward.

Also, try this: after you launch make certain you're not looking at the water. I was getting yanked around pretty good this weekend until I tried adjusting my line of sight and it helped a ton. Didn't crash again that run - HS or TS, reg and switch - for about 6 jumps reg and 6 switch until I tried a HS 180. Even then I landed the 180 but bunny hopped on the landing and caught an edge. Embarassed
