I've seen higher education and they give you a good idea of how the approach should go on a tantrum, but when i try it it doesnt flip me really. When you guys were learning is their anything that really made the difference for you to flip over?
by the way i can easily do backflips on a trampoline so thats not the problem. |

What I do is let go of the rope w/my back hand and as I pop off the wake arch your back and tilt your head back as you rotate and see the water again spot your landing and absorb the landing with your knees then shout in glory you have landed a tantrum. _________________ Slob Gear

make sure you wait a second longer for the pop then you think you should. if you do you should flip over perfectly with the right amount of spin and pop. i guess you dont really need to worry about spotting your landing all that much. i never have once. also try to make sure you stay extended throughout the flip. _________________ Yabba Dabba Dizzle |

If you put more weight on your front foot it will throw your rotation forward and make the trick harder to land. What r you thinkin buddy. _________________ Slob Gear

| dumassonwheels89, thats not what it says in the latest issue of WBM. ot says that you should load the nose slightly when cutting into the wake. |

Headless - I was just going to say that about WBM. I could do tantrums about 4 years ago and then lost them and haven't gotten them since. I am looking forward to trying them again "loading the nose" like WBM says.
When I could do them, I honestly can't recall if I put like 60% on my front foot, but I'm can't wait to try again. |

the Capn may have had it right. I imagine it's a small timing problem there and you need to experiment with it to get it. You'll know when you are right though cause the wake will launch you and do all the work. Just arch back and up. Keep at it. _________________ If you're scared say you're scared |
