I use the Landlock put the 1.3 P-wing fins on it.

i like the landlock but if you want you can buy a skim board and put a fin on it. That works pretty good

| any problems with skim boards snapping using them that way? That seems like it'd be a lot of stress...especially getting up. I have a skim board I bought not that long ago for playing around with at the beach but if that works I may have to give it a shot because I've been dying to learn how to wake surf (I tried it a couple times with an old skurfer rage last year but that didn't work out all that well).

| I have an Inland Surfer Green Room 6'0" and it works great for me. A skim board can be a lot of fun if you're really light but it can be hard to stay in the pocket without the rope. They're definitely better for doing tricks though.

yea I have a skim board and I guess I could put sum fins on it. But I weigh 200lbs so I don't think that would be my best bet. I like getting rid of the rope after I get up. I have always lived by the "Use the right tool for the job", it makes the job a lot easier.

| I'm about 190# so the 6'0" Inland Surfer works well for me. I was surprised when another guy that's closer to 240# got on it and was able to drop the rope. It's not as quick as smaller boards but it sure is easier for a big guy to ride!

No one has mentioned PHASE 5??!!
We have those at our shop and they are great - stable yet maneuverable, plus they retail for a really decent price for the quality of product.

| I ride the phase 5, I like it 10 times better than a surfboard. It's a little fast, but that's part of the fun. At first it's a little bit to adjust to, but they are a lot of fun. Basically it's a skim board with a fin.

I'll take that as a compliment! Yep, my wake is big and clean and works great for wakesurfing. Nor*Cal - yep, we were out at San V as usual. More people in the boat than usual plus all the sacks in the back locker so the wake was SWEET. I'm having way more fun wakesurfing than I am wakeboarding lately. And no hard crashes either

BillJ, looks like a blast. I'm home right now so I've been riding some sweet glass. No wakesurfing though but those pics are making me jealous. Finally figured out my off axis issues. Still working on correcting them but it's much better.
