i'm sure some will disagre: really, it all depends on how much rocker there is and your riding style... i feel the continous ollies better because it rolls back bringing the nose up like a skate board ollie, so your front foot can catch the grip and pull up from the water. in my opinion this is good for people who are into flip, lip, surface tricks, shorter rope lengths, poping up and out, and landing wake to wake... the trade off is the more agressive rockers = more drag, the trick is to find the happy medium so it's got the pop and the drag is minimal... it dosen't edge as well as a 3 stage either... a 3 stage is good all around, longer rope lengths, harder edging....etc... but for me it dosen't fell as good as a continous...

SteadFast series is a flat deck... we are working on the concave decks now... i'm not sure when that will be available... if you chose grip or foam the sheet will be di-cut with the mutiny logo and shipped so you can place it how you see fit... at least thats the plan for now... it might change... oh, and we will have more/better photos so you can really see the details and quality...

They do look pretty cool. I prefer grip tape over foam and it's nice to see a company that gives you the option when ordering. I also like the diecut logo, it's a nice touch. I might have to get me one when I break my cassette.

Damn, You missed me by 2 weeks. Oh well I'm sure this POS cassette will break in a month anyway. And as far as the rocker question goes, I preffer 3-stage, but I ride a longer line and do more wake and rail stuff than flip stuff. Just for the record I would buy one of you're boards before buying another cassette unless they do something drastic like make a quality board. Good luck with you're company, seems like you are coming in at a good time. Hype is having production problems(like you would want to ride one of thier first runs), Kampus boards just look funny(havn't ridden one) nuff said about cassette.

"kampus boards just look funny"-sorry dude but your credibility just went right down the drain. I have actually heard nothing but good things about this company and tons of people out there are willing to give this company a shot. At least they're free thinkers and they come up with their own ideas rather than copying everyone else. And it's nice that you totally have to knock one company in order to kiss the ass of another.

Schmaltz,

How wide are the boards? I'd be looking at either the 40.5" continous or the 41.5" 3-stage. What size fins are included? Thanks!

Whoa I totally missed that shot from electricsnow. I don't give a fuk if I have credibility with you. I stated my opinion, based on the shape I saw. So you ride one of those round tip Kampus boards, Good, hope you're money was well spent and you enjoy it very much. I'm not a little rich kid that can throw money around on sh1t that is gonna suck, I work my blue collar job and pay my own way. I'm all for free thinking and improving product design, but I'm not kicking my money down on something that drastic that I can't test ride first. Kampus boards are still made of wood right? And for the record I didn't knock one company I knocked all three. Here is something else for my credibility, I think snowboarding is gay.

Actually, I lived in Breckenridge, CO for 10 years and spent around 180 days a year at the resort. Lived a month out of each summer clipping tickets to ride at Mt Hood. I've had photos(that I have taken) in most of the major snowboard rags. I've riden in the southern hemisphere and enjoy being an ass. I also believe wakeboarding is gay, doesn't mean I don't have fun when I do it.

I don't ride a kampus, but a friend of mine is on the team. I just think it's ridiculous that you won't buy a deck because of the way it looks. If that was the case with everyone, I think boards would have a hard time evolving. (what if people said that about the flight 69?) I would understand if you didn't want one because you couldnt' try it-that's reasonable. You are just being a bit hasty. another example was your statement about the kampus' sucking. WHere's your proof? Durrrr???...

I have a question, are you trying to imply that I am some snobby rich kid with a nice nautique and a wakeskate whenever I want one? For your information, I actually ride behind an aluminum boat with a 70 hp outboard motor with a tripod. For weight, I actually use buckets of wet sand and rocks (I learned that back in 1996). Also, I have bought every single set up I have ever owned to date with my own, hard earned money.. So, I am as bluecollar as they come (my parents are far from rich).

Lastly, I couldn't give a sh!+ if you think snowboarding is gay or not. I know that I love it and it is my favorite thing to do. Nice try though. I'm glad you saw my post.

By the way, have you tested a mutiny yet or are you just jumping on a bandwagon? How do you know a mutiny wont' fall apart like a cassette? Has it been proven that a mutiny shape is more functional than a kampus? You're full of judgements. Everyone makes a bad board now and then, it doesn't matter who you are.
