I coach for a youth football league, middle school aged girls 12-13. They are great kids, sometimes bratty and definitely boy crazy, but old enough to pick up more technical dance moves and perform more difficult stunts. I don't have any good pictures of them, I was always too busy spotting.

i have some - just gotta get them scanned... i have pics from competition last year.. but my team isn't a "typical" high school cheerleading team. the team is like split up into 2. 1/2 is the preppies & the other 1/2 is the ghetto-chicks. im not saying that to be mean, but they actually call themselves that. so i'll try to find some normal pics... but i doubt they'll b close-ups....

They should've gotten that Nike commercial with that naked guy running around on the British soccer field in there. That was the best commercial I've seen yet, and it wasn't even in the Superbowl.

The commercials were not s good as the past years.......this year ws probally the worst. And yes Aubs we saw the cheerleaders and my husband could not believe how high they were thrown. Shania li sank but Gwen stafani rocks like always......gotta love that gwen !!

I can't stand Shania, she can't even sing.... Gwen rocked, the Dixie Chicks sang the anthem....priceless...., no one thought the H&R block Willie Nelson was funny, that was classic!!!!, I was very pickled during the entire game, so the commercials got funnier as the night progressed.....

In General the Superbowl sucked this year. The game wasn't any good and the comercials didn't live up to previous years. The best Superbowl commercial of all time was a few years ago with the pigeons chasing the Nissan.

Well at least you guys watched the game. I was going to have a super bowl party and then realized that my satelite does not get ABC so i had to call and un invite everyone. which sucked.

We just played poker and hung out. But i wasnt that into it anyway so it was okay. Glad to know it isnt going down as the best superbowl of all time. hehehe

Ummm...... tic, toc..... will Aubs and K.A. have a super-brawl?

Aubs.... I cheered for Pop Warner for 3 years when I was in middle school. We got 1st runner up in a competition one year. That was fun. The year after I quit, our football team got invited to a bowl game in NY. Oh, I was pissed!

Lindsay.... I also coached some 13 yr. olds. That was a lot of fun. I couldn't see myself hanging with the snobby cheer chicks in my highschool, so I coached instead.

I love coaching. The girls are great, but the parents can be a challenge. It's a three month season, so about the time I'm ready to pull my hair out I'm done for the year. So that's good. Only problem--cuts into my riding time. We practice every night of the week (except Fri) the last 3 weeks of August, so I can't make any after work or leaving work early lake sessions, but once school starts that gets cut back to two nights a week. Then games on Saturday, but my squad has morning games, so I can meet the crew at the lake in the afternoon. It works out OK.

u kno... i can deal with a possible stress fracture in my wrist, i can deal with my algebra 2 teacher calling my house AGAIN to tell my parents that im failing, i can deal with one of my best friends going behind my back and telling a HUGE secret to a bunch of my friends that has turned my reputation towards hell... but i cannot... CANNOT tollerate someone calling cheerleading a sport... do u have ANY clue.. and i mean ANY clue how hard i work everyday at practice? its like lifting weights for 3 hours every single day during the week. we all tumble... not many people can say that they do round-off tucks or toe-touch backhandsprings everyday. do you know (and this is a fact) that cheerleading is the top rated injury sport for women? in one season (9 months) i had a fractured collar bone, stress fracture in my foot, lord knows how many broken/bruised ribs... im going to stop here because the flames that are coming out of my ears is starting to burn my hair...

but if i need to continue...hell... i will
