I don't want an extended pylon. When I buy a boat, I want a real honest to goodness tower. Unfortunately, I won't be able to buy a boat for a while yet. But, I just wanted to make sure.

| Yes, some towers will fit almost any boat. Do a search under wakeboard towers. |

For the most part, yes. If you buy a boat that is well made, you shouldn't have too many problems, depending of course on what tower you're trying to fit to what boat. Where you tend to run into problems is when the fiberglass is too thin (read, Bayliner), you need to do some work as far as strengthening the areas of attachment. Talk with Bill over at Monster Towers. They build a good universal tower that they seem to have good success with on many different kinds of boats. Here's the link:
