If I was an athletic director, there is not a coach I'd rather have running my football program, than Urban Meyer. I am convinced that he is the best coach in college football. |

I wouldn't argue Satan. Satan hired Lane Kiffin. Statutory disqualification.
Urb definitely left a few class points on the field last night by not going victory formation and letting the clock run. Ore had 2 time outs, but weren't calling them with the clock running under 1:00. He should have gone victory, and if Ore called a TO then rammed it down their throats. The game was over already.
Anyhow, lack of class aside, yeah he's the best right now. _________________

You know I agree on the Kiffin hiring.
I don't begrudge the last touchdown all that much. They didn't throw the ball. It gives the game a blowout narrative for the low IQ though.
Cardale was a wild card that kept a number of drives going. OSU defense should get all the credit in the world, along with OSU's power run game(a marked contrast to Freemans performance, not Tyner). Elliot has incredible balance, speed and agility.
They took Oregons punches and never flinched.... lots of teams would have had tight ahole syndrome after the second turnover in the 3rd quarter. OSU just went about there business and crammed the ball down Oregon's throat. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

Elliot has been playing with a banged up left wrist (offseason surgery) as well. From what I noticed he didn't put the ball in that hand once last night. _________________ RIP DLS.

the halftime score and 4th qtr gave the game a blowout narrative. hell, the only scores y'all got in the 2nd half were off of turnovers. thought it was going to be a burner down the stretch, but the tosu defense did work late. |

Oh, by the way: Urban built that OSU team entirely while operating under scholarship restrictions.
Those restrictions ended last night. |

The rematch in Lane to open the 2015 season just got a lot more interesting.
Can VT do it twice...? In Bud we trust. |

eeven73, no kidding. I can't imagine it being much better than Jim vs Pete, but I'm 100% looking forward to it! _________________

Pete kinda let Jim bully him.
I don't think Urb is gonna have any of that stuff.
I think there is a 60% chance it becomes a BITTER, BITTER rivalry with only public decorum barely able to contain hatred.
A 40% chance it is a BS love fest about mutual respect and crap like that with undercurrents of above. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

Yes it was.
When dogshit Stanford beat USC at the Coluseium 2007 it was like the Bully getting punched in the school yard.
Then he rubbed Petes nose in stuff with Toby Gerhardt in 09.(Whats your problem)
I really can't believe that Pete wasn't more bitter towards the Red Ass. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

I'm hoping the rivalry becomes more competitive as well.

The Buckeyes have dethroned Texas, which had held the top spot for three straight years in the annual valuation by Ryan Brewer, an assistant professor of finance at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus.
The Longhorns, who still led all programs in estimated revenues, are worth $972.1 million, up from $875 million a year ago. But that was only good for No. 3. Michigan finished second at $999.1 million. Ohio State and Michigan both benefited from much-improved cash flows over the past year. |

Watch what you wish for. Harbaugh is a hell of a motivator. I am sure there is a big Urb dartboard in his office right now. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

If his football career fails he should come to Oregon and work for liquor control doing stings on bars for carding. He would be employee of the year _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

Maybe Portland needs a new medical staff. Greg Oden's and Brandon Roy's knees would thank you! _________________ RIP DLS.

Roy was VERY GOOD for a bit.... ROY, few all star teams, was one of the best 2's in the NBA during his run. One of the few "stars" on other teams that I really liked....and he seemed to be a Jazz killer, insult to injury. |

yes, my "something" was more trying to emphasize the NOTHING that Bowie and ODEN were.
Roy was awesome for a few. Sad his body didn't last. Although we did end up in a better spot with Lillard. _________________ Is President Obama a Keynesian? |

murray confirms a&m commitment - texas has to land locksley, and probably another qb, or they are in a hell of a spot next year. |

We don't know that 100% for sure. Heard has not stepped on the field. The offense is changing. Reports are that Heard is not doing well, but we don't know for sure until he steps on the field. Colt was a huge question mark when he started and he ended up being one of the best to play college ball.
I'm more interested in getting some new BIG and MEAN OLine guys. I miss dudes like Studdard. _________________ Work SUX! |
