But 1 of 5 teams that he has over 100 rushing yards against, so maybe this is the game he does it with his legs... Laughing

Rodney Harrison nor Antonio Cromartie aren't Chargers anymore....& Peyton isn't a Colt....I'm worried about what he has done this year and more importantly, what he'll do this weekend....

I have to think Stanford will be putting together a Dick Sherman quote takes to send out to recruits/parents. Hell, maybe try to pull his Tony Robins into student recruiting.

It was pretty brazen and I'm sure it will get a lot of attention. I thought it was classless, too.

How about the Bowman leg injury...ouch! The call by the officials was pretty bad, too.

I was just happy to see Harbaugh and Kaepernick lose the game. Put an effing hat on right. Then what is he wearing in the post game interview? was he headed to spin some records later on? What a freaken idiot.

Harbaugh just whines constantly, worst coach in the NFL for that. Shut the eff up. You lost, deal with. Your quarter back fumbled and threw how many interceptions. What did he have, 45 yards passing in the first half? Sure he ran for a 100 yards, that can be adjusted for, you can adjust for sucking at passing though... If you are a 49ers fan I guess you have to be pretty worried, you only have 3-4 years left with your quarterback or is it a running back that throws sometimes. That's pretty much the shelf life for that kind of quarterback...

I hate Seattle. Freaken hate them as a Broncos fan. Being in our division for years and years it was very weird to be chearing for them. I guess that tells you how much I despise the Harbaugh 49ers. The teams are different from back then, but it's nice to know that Bronco fans can remember back to when we played them twice a year and just owned them.

Seattle has a great D but i think the Broncos line up to them pretty well. There's nothing to the Seattle offence and Denver actually has a decent run defence for the past 2-3 months.

I actually thought the interview was kind of entertaining, looking at Andrews face after the first statement was priceless. What did you expect, a minute after Sherman made the biggest play of his life he was emotional? Big shock. I don't think he's classless, he was in the moment. I hope Manning lights him up, not cause of what he did or what he said, but because I want Denver to run over the Hawks cause after the 49ers, they aren't many teams in the NFL that I despise more!!

Should be an awesome superbowl

I was at the game and the 4 and 1 touchdown pass and interception to end the game happened literally 20 yards directly in front of me. Wild atmosphere and a really fun game regardless of who you were rooting for.

Sherman was pumped up and got a mic stuffed in his face and made himself look like an idiot. It's too bad this is the discourse on the game and not the play on the field.

Come on, it wasn't just the immediate after the game ended stuff(which STILL is CLASSLESS)....Dick did the same thing at the post game presser....the guy appears to be a huge douchenozzle....

I don't know him, but his actions the past 24 hours..... Rolling Eyes

Sherman's comments have nothing to do with his excite from winning the game. The guy is always like this.

Nah. He's a sh*t talker with a few screws loose and it finally caught up to him. Dude also got into a verbal "disagreement" with Harbaugh back at Stanfurd which lead to his switch from WR to DB.

Since Richard Sherman entered the NFL:
• 1st in picks (20)
• 1st in passes defensed (61)
• Opponent QB Rating when targeted 39.4 (1st)

I hope there isn't anyone who would argue that he wasn't a phenomenal football player, arguably/probably the best at his position.

This is exactly what I am talking about. Sherman is some duct tape on his mouth from being great. No matter how good he is on the field, what people are going to remember is the obnoxious antics.

He's a very intelligent guy, I've got to imagine this will occur to him at some point. Probably around the time his agent informs him that because he acted the fool in an interview, he is no longer the spokesman for *insert brand here* and those 6 figure paychecks for doing next to nothing are no longer coming.

and then there are the companies that hire him because of how he acts.

I keep hearing excuses being made for Sherman that he was in the moment, heat of battle........

Running over to get in the face of Crabtree and then running over to taunt Kaepernick and then calling Crabtree a bitchass is totally out of line.

You want to scream your the greatest, fine. The above is total bull.

jt09, those companies are in the minority. And as far as the Beats "hear what you want" stuff, I think we (the public) are the ones who need to wear the Beats to filter out what Dick says. Maybe that's what Beats is going for. He's not going to land McDonalds or Subway or Chevy or ??? with his current act - or he's not going to keep them around for long (if he's got any of them now). He's a smart guy, my guess is the math will eventually speak to him.

I agree with eeven73. Given his level of intelligence, he should know better. He needs to grow up. Heat of the moment is not an excuse, plenty of other players keep their head on when Erin Andrews jams the mic in their face.

all that sh*t talking really hurt deion sanders. and that's a guy who was starting fights on the field w/ guys. if you're good on the field, the money will find you.

Sanders signed endorsement deals with Nike, Pepsi, Visa, DirecTV, Century 21, Pizza Hut and Sega

Sherman isn't Primetime (he can't even hold his jock as of right now). Primetime said the right things when he needed to, and had something Dick doesn't - charm. Deion is hard not to like, dude sells it. Well, not that hot dog thing, that sucked, but he sells himself extremely well. Can't say the same for Dick, but he's still very young.

I have no idea why you are so defensive about Dick. He's got a ton to learn (humility) and a lot of growing up to do.

i don't know why you're so anti-dick. or why you think it's going to cost him money, when history shows differently - and deion is just one of many examples. you're trying to make it sound like he kicked someone's knee, punched rudy t in the face, or swung a hockeystick at a head. the guy just talked some sh*t.

yes, it was poor sportsmanship, but i'm not looking for that from pro athletes all the time. there needs to be some good old fashioned hate in pro sports. there needs to be some nutjob who will get ranty when an idiot bimbo gives him the chance. pro sports has had these characters since the beginning of time - it's part of what makes sports interesting to watch. all you get off my lawn types act like the world is coming to an end because of this.

jt09, if he wasn't a complete arrogant ass I'd be a huge cheerleader for him. I've said it over and over, he's got the right formula for success. He's just got to grow up.

Who said it's the end of the world? I think you misinterpret the level of give a crap about this. It's just a entertaining topic of debate.

PS: stop comparing him to Deion. He isn't Deion. Unless I missed something and the Mariners trying to put him on the field and he switched up to some seriously questionable choices in suits.

he's the best corner in the game, hence the comparison. also, deion was 10x the assh*le on the field, so there's basis for it. not everything is going to be a direct correlation.

WHOA! That's not easy to say especially when Revis is considered.

In my view its not the screaming he is the best or being mouthy on the field. But, when he goes complete A-hole and covers 30 yds to get in another players face. Personally, I think it should be taken care of on the field and the game needs more Kevin Gogan types. Clean him up a few times around a pile and see how mouthy he continues to be.
