Use the search option at the top of the page. You will an identical question with some legit answers. Thank you and don't forget to use the search in the future.

do you expect everyone to search everytime before they ask a question?

not if your on a river or a lake, names are used for marine radios mostly in the ocean or for big boats..

Never heard of "there boat"

Is that like Young Frankenstein? "Where wolf?" - "There wolf!"

Yes, some people name their boats. Some don't.

If everyone searched before posting a question....we'd have like 10 posts here. I'd bet that a good portion of all the questions posted right now can be found somewhere in the archives. Smile Whats the big deal about posting a question thats already been posted. If you don't want to read it, don't read it.....and you certainly don't have to respond to it. Though, the search feature is great don't get me wrong, but give grlywake a break!

By the way, yes I named my boat. I agree that it is mostly an offshore/marine type of thing to do, but hell, I paid for the boat...I maintain it....I have kind of a special relationship with it Wink What am I supposed to call it when I'm talking to it. Laughing

You're supposed to call it "Boat" or "The Boat" of course. Rolling Eyes
