That started right next to my old house / neighborhood. Been waiting 4 long years for that stretch to be opened. Now it will be a breeze to get from I-10 to HWY 290 on the West side of Houston. _________________ Work SUX! |

from your lips to god's ears. i frequently need to get from the 290/610/249 area over to i10 for the drive back to austin, and an open toll road would be a blessing. |

Is that going to be a new path that a lot of people will take? I notice it is only 2 lanes in each direction.
By the way, the toll tag got read and a license plate image correctly taken at 200 mph...gotta love technology. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

This is child's play. There is MUCH more impressive image capture technology out there my company works on. |

churchy, I'm sure there is. Is the stuff you're working on video frame capture related or more OCR related? _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

| All of the above... we make a lot of the imager die in today's cell phones, tablets, etc. I have been involved in a lot of other really cool projects as well (most I can't get into). We did build a 50 gig imager (not meg) for the DOD. They flew it over Duke University in a drone. It allowed you to take an image of a very large area, and zoom into any region of interest. In one example, you could clearly read the menu in a restaurant window. |

Is that the 130 toll? I wish I had a car that would do 200 on the 130. Because I cruise home at 100 on that toll road all the time. _________________ Wakeskating

Okie - Exxon just built a new facility in the Woodlands, which is an hour due north of Houston. It will house 8000 employees. Many Exxon people live in Katy / Richmond area that need a quick way to get from Katy to the Woodlands. The full completion of the toll road will take them to 1 mile away from the new Exxon building. This area that was just opened is a small portion of the full loop. Houston will have 3 loops by the time this one is finished. _________________ Work SUX! |

Just have john install the same nitrous setup he did in that vette. He emptied it with his finger on the button the whole time making that video btw. _________________ http://www.youtube.com/greasemonkeytv |
