Actually, it's not a toy. Put it together on Tuesday night and did my first 5k last night. Holy chit am I feeling it today!

little jealous, but my ass would use it 3 times and never again. how much? looks all fancy and wooden.

jt09 - the price was a bit steep ($1,300) but I knew if went cheap I'd probably only use it 3 times. This machine is amazing. The way it uses water instead of chains or pneumatics, almost replicates the feel of paddling on water. Very smooth. I figure if I can do at least 20-30 minutes a night, I'll feel real good about myself.

$1,300 is expensive today. Its easy to overlook that $1,300 is extremely cheap in terms of healthcare and quality of life down the road.
