Seems like the American public reelected the President full aware of the Affordable Health Care Act and this day, the likes of the Mike Lee and his anything but what the Dems want is growing old. I find it amusing that he wants the Government to live within its means, but couldn't even do that himself and lost his house while in office, if my memory serves me correctly.

...and no that is not a comment at spend, spend, spend...just anecdotal fun at a guy who acts like he knows how to manage public monies...he can't manage his own.

...and in my dream world, I don't want blink, I want real progress and work from both sides to fix the "us or them" mentality in Washington....(want to laugh as writing that, as I have a better chance at winning the Powerball & I don't play the lottery)

When the people vote in accordance with their approval rating of congress we might see progress. But, when an incumbent enjoys a 90% + chance of being re-elected, they can be as big as jackasses as they want.

unfortunately, when the incumbents are voted out, the newly elected reps see it as an affirmation of their own positions rather than a disavowal of their predecessors'.

You can adjust your withholding, ADP or Paychecks or whoever administers your payroll is in charge of withholding, not the IRS.

But, can we deduct a pro rata share of our taxes due based on the number of days we went without "vital government services". Question

Speaking of Mike Lee, a local reporter ask if he was going to decline taking his paychecks during the shutdown, as many are doing. He said no, I am an essential employee, I am working and going to be paid.... Rolling Eyes

I think it is the R's that will blink first. I agree that this next election cycle is going to be interesting.
