I woke up in a rose bush missing my flip flop which I found on the other side of the campground under a boat trailer while walking to take a shower. That was after proving multiple times, within the first hour of arriving, that I'm the beer bong champion with rolling rocks and jagermeister. I think that was boardstock '03 or '04. I didn't speak or drink much of anything the rest of the weekend. Pretty sure Bethany and Chavez saw the aftermath but missed the whirlwind of drinking.
In college, I have been known to wake up tangled in my bicycle on the beach. One of those "stay down" moments.
Haven't time traveled much since then but I have had some rolling blackouts. These days I can feel it coming on, irish goodbye and throw myself into a cab, uber, or just walk several miles home instead of continuing to go down the rabbit hole.

| Other than this past weekend, I've seriously cut-back my drinking and have felt way better for it. My days of getting obliterated are probably over but figured I'd go out with a bang for the bachelor weekend, haha.

Bethany, yep. Amongst others.
Man that microwave burrito assembly line on the boat was the stuff.
I slept like a baby that night. Nice cushy queen size bed on the boat! lol
I still want to see that a$$hole's permit.

So, uh, bump I guess.
<not proud>
I was laughing at all the jokers in this thread and then it happened to me last night. Worked all day Sat and was seriously ready for cold pop or two. Well, two's too many and twenty's not enough... Ended up at a new honky tonk (country dance hall for those who haven't seen Urban Cowboy yet) with a buddy of mine. Appearently, I got tired of the betch at the table next to us barking orders to her gals and I proceeded to tell her I was "on to her" and that I knew "she was the kingpin" wtf? Too much breaking bad perhaps? FFW 1 hr and I was done. Lit up a smoke (no smoking) and got thrown out. # Insert Ron White joke here.# Start walking towards my house through a subdivision that I own about 5 rent houses in and call the sweet wife for a ride. Somebody must have questioned me sitting on the curb, because my wife claims I said "just go back in your f'n house, I own this subdivision!"
</not proud>
my wife found it hilarious, god love her. Getting too old to be doing this, so hopefully this is my last contribution to his thread!

I havent drank since july 4th. I would say I got black-out drunk last night in Bahrain. The last thing I remember was taking out 200bd from an atm. I guess I thought it was dollars??? Not sure. 200bd = $520. fml.
Shitty thing I just checked my pockets and only have about 7 left.

March 16, 2006
Spring break trip to Ventura, Ca to visit a friend. We spent a few days in Mexico and went up to Santa Barbara on the 16. Met up with Bethany that night. Started doing shots and the rest of the evening became a blur.
Our friend, the Ventura resident gets a dui when were leaving the bars. We were all drunk so no one could drive. He goes to jail and the car gets towed. It's 2 am on St. Patties day and I'm told I could barely stand. All of our luggage is at Ventura guy's apartment in Ventura. We are now stranded in SB at 2 am with only our cell phones.
I got Mike Isler's number in some wb.com messages before the trip in case we had time to meet up. Apparently I called him and asked for his help. He picked up myself and 3 of my friends and let us crash at his place. When I woke up, I had no idea where I was, but there was this extremely friendly guy working in a room of computers, cameras, and a bunch of other electronic equipment. He explained that I had called him and he had picked us all up in his Excursion and let us crash with him. He dropped us off in the downtown area of SB. The following 12 hours included us exploring the boardwalk and other touristy areas of Santa Barbara as well as figuring out how to get our friend out of jail AND getting back to LAX where our flights were leaving the next day.
Bethany happened to be driving to Ventura that afternoon. So she gave us a ride to Ventura from Santa Barbara (~30-40 minute drive) where we planned to break into our friend's apartment to get our stuff. Just as we get to his apartment, he calls us. He is out of jail and on his way. That night, we crashed at an apartment in LA that my other friend managed and made our flights the next morning. GREAT TRIP!!

I'll try to keep this one short, and only touch on the highlights, so excuse the abbreviated writing style.
Got a girl arrested once when I was blackout drunk. Here's how:
In college, took a girl bowling for our first date the Saturday before Mother's Day. Had fun, about a half dozen drinks each. Feeling pretty good, neither of us wanted to call it a night. Alley closed at 1, bars in town don't close until 2. Decided to find the nearest one. Didn't sit down at the bar until 1:30, the place was empty. Figured it would be a great idea to take turns buying each other shots until the place closed. Hot bartender never left our segment of counter. About 8 shots each in, I'm all out of shots that I know and like, so I settle on two SoCo and limes to end the night.
Bartender with big tits: "I'm out of Soco."
My drunk ass: "No worries. Just make us something similar. Surprise me."
Bartender girl proceeds to pour two full glasses--not shot glasses--of Jack, no ice, no nothing, and squeezes one lime over both. My date takes one sip and says Bubb Rubb no, I ain't drinking that. Always one to grossly exceed my limits, I chug them both down in roughly 7 seconds.
...and that's my last memory of the night...
...until 5AM...
...when I woke up alone on my own couch...
...with two cop cars, lights on, in my driveway.
After panicking and figuring I probably stupidly tried to drive home and hit something/someone, I stumbled outside still drunk off my ass. Apparently my date had tried to drive home after we got back to my place (her mom was driving in from two states over to spend Mother's day with her). She was parked on the street, started the car, and then passed out on the steering wheel with her door wide open. Eventually the calvary came. They were going to arrest her for DUI but, after hearing her side of the story, agreed to let her sleep it off at my place. That is, UNTIL they saw me emerge from the house unable to stand and certainly unable to form cohesive thoughts. I start belligerently trying to ask what's happening and to let her go and to take off the handcuffs. (I imagine my words formed in a series of progressively louder grunts.) Upon seeing the two of us together, the officers discussed amongst themselves and came to the conclusion that we couldn't be that f'ed up from alcohol alone, and that either I drugged her and/or we were on drugs...despite the fact that our clothes and hair weren't out of the place in the slightest, so I'd make a really crappy rapist.
So here's the kicker: they arrested her for public intoxication solely because they didn't trust me to let her go back inside with me and were trying to protect her.
I show up at the police station about an hour later to bail her out since they took her phone, and I didn't know her mom's number. They tell me I can't bail her out until she blows a .08...which she did...at 4pm, after 10 hours of me sitting in the waiting room and 10 hours of her mom having no idea which ditch she was buried in.
Turns out her mom is a religious zealot and is less than thrilled upon meeting me. She informs me that I will be accompanying them to dinner, where I had to sit there and take it as she spent the better part of two hours lecturing us on what God would think, on Mother's Day. I didn't get laid.

ha - i've got a great one w/ a wb.com connection! grouch's gf had a friend coming to austin for the weekend, which included widespread panic at the brand new austin city limits theater in the brand new w hotel. grouch got us together via fb, and all was good in the hood.
except that this was the opening day of the ncaa tournament, and st. pattie's day to boot. when she called me to say she was running late on her drive down from dallas, i was all " fuuuck, i'm going to be shitfaced by the time she gets here..." and i was. i'd been out since noon, and ran into several guys that i hadn't seen in forever (seperately), and each time was a free beer or a shot. one was bachelor brad who had just finished the second season and was telling me about that hot blonde emily. i was also dominating that day in my only bracket, that i filled out on my way out the door, only because the guy called me and made me fill it out, and paid my entry. plus, i just love st pattie's day. so, i was feeling it and going fairly strong. no wingman, either.
went to meet her at a restaurant, where she was w/ 4 or 5 friends. iirc, one of the guys i ran into was on the way to the restaurant, and we had car bombs. showed up a little sloppy, ate all their chips and guac - fairly expensive place, and i dominated it in a heartbeat. she was very cool, feeding me, making me drink water, joking about it. she went to the restroom and i ninjawalked. i just knew i was shitfaced and needed to eject before i got any worse.
next morning my buddy picks me up to go to lunch and watch the games. i'm telling him the story about how i had free tickets to widespread in the new venue w/ some good lookin' chick (sotra) from the internet and Bubb Rubb it up. he's obviously cracking up, and advises me to call her, so i do. i apologize for flaking and not meeting her the night before and she just laughs. did i not remember eating all their food? or disappearing into thin air? i did not. i remembered 3 bars and a couple of events/people i ran into, but not her. she replayed the 30 min or so i was w/ her group in great detail and delight.
she was really cool about the whole thing, and we even met up for a beer later that weekend.

I don't get it are you tiring for applause or sympathy . You might seem cool to the youngsters here but you are way to old with too much to loose for that kind of behavior.
Time to grow up and act like a man, father, husband and attorney before you hurt someone and loose it all.

Lake Lanier boat crash
The funeral for Griffin and Jake Prince was held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Suwanee Dam Road in Suwanee.
The Prince brothers were killed on June 18 after Paul J. Bennett, 44, allegedly caused the boat crash that killed the brothers.
Authorities said Bennett left the scene of the crash around 10:30 p.m. near Shoal Creek Campground on Lake Lanier in Hall County.
Jake, 9, was killed at the scene of the crash. Griffin, 13, was thrown overboard after Bennett's boat slammed into the vessel. His body was recovered 10 days after the accident.
Department of Natural Resources officers arrested Bennett at about 1:30 a.m. at the marina.
Bennett was charged with boating under the influence. He bonded out of jail on June 19. Police said he may face more charges.
The man that did this was a good guy he also just let one night get away from him.

| Are you really trying to say you did nothing wrong because you had somebody to nurse you home? You seem to act proud of what you did. I cant believe you posted it on the net. I don't have a problem with having a drink but I really hate drunks. I hope you never have another night that gets away from you and wake up to find you hurt or killed someone. But wait I guess that would be the designated drivers fault ?

Did they at least lube the stick before it got jammed in your ass?
I mean hell, I'm the last person you'll find blackout drunk (those days are wayyyy behind me), but c'mon man, lighten up.

Well, I just thought it was funny. I'm not sure I follow the logic behind your criticism. I had a sober driver, so it would have been impossible for me to cause an accident, as you suggested. I was in a private club and then at my house on my property, which is in a secluded area, so I broke no laws. So no, I'm not ashamed that I apparently did not eat enough and a few mixed drinks snuck up on me. It's not like I got on here and bragged about taking a billion shots at a bar and driving myself home.
So, you obviously have some personal baggage that you are projecting. Perhaps your dad was a drunk or your sister was killed by a drunk driver or something. Well, that's not my fault and you probably ought to stop being so judgmental towards others.
I thought it was interesting and humorous that the situation happened so I thought I'd share. If you look at the op, you will notice that I explained that I had not experienced a night like that in like 10 years, yet you peg me as someone who gets hammered on a nightly basis and who poses a threat to the safety of others by doing so. You are being unrealistic and have made illogic assumptions about the pertinent circumstances.
So, with the expectation that you lack the capacity to reconsider your position and utilize an objective thought process based upon reason, have a nice day and focus on yourself and your life instead of self richously criticizing others.

Yessir! Wish you could have been here for it. We went to the casino during the day before we went out that night and actually all came out ahead, so we were pretty much playing on house money all night.

Well you certainly put me in my place. I must be wrong. It is interesting and humorous to get so drunk you cant make it home by yourself, break a glass ,wake up the baby so the wife has to get up too. Lets not forget puking and passing out it sounds like it was hilarious .
Then post it on a public forum for all to see. And now its my fault for being so judgmental towards others. I wouldn't have even known about it if you didn't tell me . How do you want me to feel about your post ?
Maybe you just had one bad night ? Maybe you should have just kept it to yourself so others are not so judgmental.
