I'm looking for a new board.

At one point I had a 2002 CWB Absolute. This board tracked like it was on a train track. Pretty ugly graphic tho

Anyone recommend a board that won't get skittish when I cut super hard?

depends on how you use it.

If you're riding cable you'd either go for boards that have molded fins, or removable fins which you put "park friendly" fins on. Molded fin boards like the S4 hold an edge well, although i've never really had problems with any molded fin boards. those with removable fins... really just depends on whether you prefer 3-stage or continuous boards.

if you're riding behind a boat, a continuous/hybrid board bites harder on edge, but personally if you find edging into the wake a problem, the issue is probably with your progressive edge. I've had problems riding a Ronix Bill (aggressive 3 stage) with no fins behind the boat, and the problem was with the board loosing it's edge hold just as i launch from the wake, causing me to lose some upward pop and all my balance.
