i was put in charge of organizing a law day event for our local 6th graders last week, and i need to do thank yous for the volunteers who led tours and the officeholders who spoke. i've always heard that a hand-written thank you is best, but what if your handwriting is dogshit? should i do a typed thank you letter that will be legible, or a hand-written card that will be semi-legible? thoughts? (and yes, i do realize it doesn't really matter. just wanted the outside opinions.)

My handwriting is dogshit and I send handwritten thank you cards. If I write a little slower and think about each letter just before I write it, my handwriting is almost legible.

how does a grown man not have good enough handwriting to write a note? like oh6 said - just slow down a bit and take some time. i've taken to writing them more frequently lately and always feel good about dropping them in the mail.

Yea, this. Holy cow, Come on now. If you print in all capitals it helps.

handwritten for sure - and yeah, like the others said, either print in all caps or slow it down a bit...
