Rope Length????

(this smiley looks high) Hey I need more air getting off the wake. Does rope length help? I have it at about 15 feet right now, and I had it at like 20 and it really helped in the difference with the wake. Should I go even shorter? See we dont have a tower so I'm trying to figure out how to get the most air without killing myself anyway any advice I would love to have instant message me at sweetteen581 or you know just reply like a normal person kk? love ya all- lilwakeboardbabe

try 50 - 60 feet

20 feet is entirely tooooooo short---50 is where beginning of beginners learn most people ride at about 75ish

Yeah, I ride at 75 feet, and I used to think going short was a good idea. The thing about the longer rope is that you can get much further outside the wake...giving you more speed into the wake...plus the wake is much cleaner back a ways...

55 is good for learneing but try to work your way out to 65-75

i'm on a slalom rope and go at 22' . . . i want to buy a wakeboarding rope though soon but i only have an X7 instead of a v-drive, so i might just stay the same

yeah from my tower 15 feet would put me on the swim step or damn close to it. I had some trouble with rope lenght so I tried 75 feet like everyone recomended at like 22 or 23mph but the wake was too small so I shortened to about 65 to 67 not really sure do to the handle length but I would say at least fifty feet it also depends on what boat you ride behind I ride behind a sunsetter which has more of a ski purpose so the wake I get is way smaller then some one with a wakesetter or air natique

You need one long enough to go all the way from the tower to the handle. Any shorter is no good.

maybe lilwakeboardbabe means 15 or 20 feet off wo that would make it 50 or 55. at least i hope this is the mistake she is making.

try shortening it to like 10 feet maybe that will help Rolling Eyes
