Who rides in NC?

Hey,

Just wanted to see if we had any North Carolina riders around.

If so, where do you ride?

I am on the coast line, and ride in the bay in Jacksonville. When I have extended time off I head up to Lake Gaston.

my aunt has a lakehouse on gaston. I'm up there a couple weekends during each month of summer. I love it just wish I could get there more often. I'm located in Raleigh

Any good places out towards Raleigh? It's about a 2 1/2 Hour drive for me.

For sure, Falls Lake is in North Raleigh and gets pretty busy at the boat ramps during the summers. Been out on it a few times but the level can get dangerously low at times.

There is also a new cable park with a system 2.0 I believe over in Greenville near ECU. It is expensive though, but most cable places are

How deep is it up by you?

It varies. I would say around 8 foot in most spots on the Neuse, 16' or so at some spots on the Trent that we ride, but 4-5 on the spot on the Neuse that is the best. It is narrow and way up the river, but the water is as slick as it gets.

awesome, I might have to head up and give ti a shot. Where I boat at is hit or miss it's either glass or swells.

Hi, I just moved to Raleigh from upstate NY. I rode multiple times a week and had a great crew I left behind, any recommendations of people that would be dedicated to ride at least once a week in Raleigh area? Falls, Jordan, and Harris Lake are all within half hour. Greatly appreciate in advance any direction! Peace, Jake.
