hi Guys,
every time i hit the water behind the boat, i ride goofy, and my leading foot *(the right one ) gets so tired. Its like the muscles in my foot, in the sole.
And the tongue of the binding pulls all the way to the side.( right side)
I have the bindings tight as hell but the tongue still shifts over to the right, and quiet far over.
My back foot is fine, doesn't get tired and the tongue of the binding stays put.
I understand the foot getting tired might be a fitness related issue, how ever it doesnt happen on the cable.
I have both my bindings set to 12. Do you think I should open up the front foot ? |

How long have you been riding, and how often do you ride cable, and how often boat? _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

@Jamespjackson95
I am riding with a 2012 Ronix Bill board and Frank 2012 bindings ( the blue and orange set up )
@Flyzone
I have been riding only a few months. I would say at the moment its 50 /50 with boat and cable. Still very much a noob, but its weird that it doesn't happen on the cable. |

how long is one continuous ride at the cable compared to boat? I'd guess cable is much shorter since you have to unstrap and walk back to the lift line, which gives enough time for your feet to relax.
I used to have this problem with snowboard boots. issue was boots were too large. Having flat feet and history of plantar fasciatist didn't help either. I would get terrible cramps in my soles/arches on longer runs, and would steadily get more frequent throughout the day until I couldn't ride. Better fitting boots and the problem went away.
But the franks are some awesome fitting bindings. One of the comfiest I've tried on, with that orthotic foot bed. Are they too big for you? Or maybe you are cranking them down too hard? |

| agree with probably too tight. i love my bindings tight as well but there is a fine line. if you make them too tight it will cut off circulation to you foot leading to more cramping |

Another thought; you might have the nicest bindings in the world, but not all bindings work for all feet. If loosening 'm up doesn't work, try some other bindings. _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

most bindings have two laces/tightening, the lower one basically tightens on top of your foot; the upper one tightens around your shin just below your calf.
what works for me is that i super tighten the upper laces (it doesn't cut off my blood circulation), and keep me secured in the bindings and not fly out during a bad crash (i prefer not to come loose at all).
then for the lower laces, i only tighten it to the point my foot doesn't have room to slip around on the foot bed. i don't super tighten it. |
