I'm considering a tower for my Malibu, I saw 1th Floor towers and liked the look, does anyone know more about this company, and how much they cost? Thanks

The are owned by the same person that owns the mastercraft dealership at Lake Elsinore. They look pretty sturdy and rigid.

I have never ridden behind one before so my opinion is based solely on looks.

One thing I noticed on the tower is the crossbar mounts on top. They are angled such that if you put speakers or lights on them, you'll really have to angle them down because the bars slant upward...a lot.

Yeah, I saw them at a boat show with all the lights on, and they were pointing above the boarders head. And the front one point almost at the bow.

jbelson,

Which lights were on them when you saw them. I was them with lights that were 2 sided and looked like car headlights.

Exactly what I saw. They looked sweet too, but the way they were mounted they were non adjustable on that bar because of the bracket (i didn't really study them though). If they were attached to the bar that goes width wise, the bracket could be tightened at the right angle, if it will fit that bar...

jbelson,

I was to busy checking out the lights to even notice how they were mounted. They sure were bright.

I am sure that the could fab up a different mounting bracket to fit any bar.

Yeah, I'm starting to realize you have to pay attention to sooo many little things like that. It's the worst being out on the water and seeing all the design flaws after you've paid a grip of $$$$$$$$

I believe many of the boat dealers out there do installations, you may want to check with a few to see what they think. Possibly biased towards what they sell (which is why my opinion should not be included) but if they have installed them then they have the hands on perspective. I've never seen one in person but most I've seen are well done.
