2004 SAN 210 TE - Thoughts for First Wake Boat

Have been looking for a wake boat for a few months, budget is around 30k. Just came across a 2004 SAN 210 TE with 400 hours for 30k (sellers bottom price). The boats in nice shape, but there are definitely a few battle scars. Comes with all the goodies. Does this seem like a good deal, or should I hold out and keep looking.

Nautiques hold their value well, seems like a good deal to me. If you do go look at it, check through it thoroughly. They have slamming wakeboard wakes, never experienced the surf, would guess it can get good with weight, given you even plan to surf.

You can't go wrong with a Nautique! In fact, I'll never own anything EXCEPT a Nautique. My first real wakeboard boat was a 1998 Air (DD) and I currently own a 2005 Super Air 210 TE and I love it. Are you sure $30K is his bottom dollar? It seems a little high to me, but I guess it depends on where you're located. I drove to Florida from Texas to buy mine; a comparable boat around here averaged around $5000 more.

What are you using the boat for? if its only wakeboarding then it should be great, but if your doing any surfing keep looking.

Above pic is a friend behind my boat, port side.

This is me, again stock weight(less total weight, people wise) starboard. This pic doesn't give a great indication of the wave, shooting away from it and from above. I'm 6'2" ('bout 215 in that pic) and can play back there all day with a big smile on my face.

Long story short, you can surf all day long behind an older 210..... Are there better waves, yes.

How many times have you been out surfing behind an older 210?
