Hey guys! I was looking on Cragislist today and noticed a 1979 mastercraft skier 19, i was wondering if this is the same hull as a stars and stripes and also if it would throw a decent wake? I wouldnt mind weighting it. I dont need a huge wake. and am just starting out, I can W2W on an unweighted ski nautique 2001 (friends boat) and sometimes 180 off a w2w but other then im a noob. The mastercraft needs a new interior and is only $2,000. at the end of the season is this a fair price? My main question is should i just get a little newer IO for about half the price or would this be worth it? im only 15 so this is the top of my price range
i attached some pics
Heres a link to the boat http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/boa/3329422509.html

Thanks

Cooper

Only problem is that it has a low freeboard and weighing the boat down will put the boat really low in the water. But I'd imagine with 1000lbs this boat could throw a wake that would make you pretty happy. Offer 1500 and spend 500 on sacs.

No need to delete the thread.
Too bad you didn't get it. Keep posting and I'm sure some forum members can help you find the right boat.
