Difference between 05/06 Malibu Wakesetter & 09 V-Ride

I was thinking these where the same boats but why is a 05 VLX the same price as a 09 V-Ride? I see them both for around $38k to $45k what's up with that? WHy not get the same boat but newer for the same price? Got to be something different.

does one have an manual wedge and the other a power wedge? or maybe no wedge on the ride?

id go with the newer ride everytime.

Same hull, not the same boat. The V-Ride is Malibu's entry price point boat. It lacks a lot of the features that the VLX will have. When I looked at a new V-Ride it came with no radio, plastic cup holders, no ballast, smaller engine. It's really just a stripped down VLX.

As far as I know: yes. Everything you need (hull/wake, engine) nothing you don't need (bling, bling, maybe some essential stuff too, I don't know).
I'd definitely pick the newer V-Ride here!

i find it hard to believe a 09 ride isnt going to come with a radio or ballast.
