I am looking into purchasing a 2000 SAN. I live in upstate SC. We do not have a very harsh winter. It usually does not get below freezing and snow and ice are very rare.
I do not have access to indoor storage. If I find a boat before winter should I winterize the boat and shrink wrap it? Or should I just have it winterized and store with the cover on? Do any of the owners on here store your boat outdoors? What process do you use? I have been looking for indoor storage facilities, but I have not had much luck.
As always, thank you for the help. |

you will inevitable get mold on the seats if it doesn't have proper air circulation, make sure the shrink wrap will let it breath _________________ Lithic, LLC, my biz

| slidin_out, Would it be better to just leave it covered? And on warmer days uncover it to let it air out? |

man you got me, i tried everything since my boat cover had no vents, one year it was stored outside and it seemed to get less mold on the seats than when i had it under covered storage, either one i would definitely leave the cover on, if you can let it air out so to speak a few times during storage and maybe clean and treat the seats you will probably be fine, i just never did that so i had a big cleaning every spring, seems like all of the newer covers have vents in the highest points to help with that _________________ Lithic, LLC, my biz

Stor-dry under the cover should do the trick. _________________ If I agreed with you we would both be wrong. |

| Nor*Cal, Do you just run an outdoor extension cord to the boat if you are storing outside? |
