entry level boats seem like a smart budget move, but as my riding progresses wont i have to then spend more money to buy another bigger boat at some other point?
what would be the disadvantage of purchasing a boat like an XStar, which im feeling would be geared more towards an intermediate / advanced border, then a more entry level type boat? |

Um, price?
Not sure what you're asking but you can definitely get a boat that you will not outgrow skill-wise on the lower-end of the pricing spectrum. Old ski boats can be outfitted for wakeboarding pretty well. 99% of us all are never going to get good enough to where we need the latest and greatest boat. |

so i will be able to get a good wake to start off on with more then a few different boats, and should be able to do a fair amount of progression as well.
dont want to end up finding out mid-air a boat i purchase only makes wake good for 40 ft jumps. |

You'd be surprised what kind of wake my Bayliner 185BBR throws up. _________________ Reserved for future |

| qwerty123, do yourself a favor and read through these forums a bit. If you make a post with your budget and what you're looking for, I'm sure someone can help. Just need specifics. |

Just like a car, you test drive them.
Good balances between the MONSTER wakes (g23, x-stars) are going to be your Axis 22s, Mastercraft X-1, Nautique 210s, and Malibu VTX.
New X-Stars are going to run you 100k+
New Axis 22s are going to be ~65K Loaded
Or you could just buy Chattwake's |

last time i bought we pulled up into a field, hooked up a hose and fired 'er up. This time i think the test drive is gonna be the move. Dont want too MONSTER a wake. Im not winning xgame gold any century, ever..just want a nice size wake to start with, thats gonna give me enough to work with for more then a few seasons. |
