Looking for a board to get my kids started out on. I have a 6 Yr old and an 12 Yr old that both finally decided in the past couple weeks they want to try boarding. I really don't want to buy two boards for them to TRY IT but will later if need be. I was thinking around a 125? and have been looking at the Hyperlite State?

Any suggestions or have anything laying around?

Thanks

I have a Hyperlite State, size 130 with Foundation bindings, size "mini" (kids size).

$179 if you're interested

You can save a lot of money going the used route. I picked up a 125 cm for my son a few months ago off of Craigslist for $60 with bindings. Nice little HL package and the board was used but not beaten up. You should be able to do the same but you have to have some patience. If you need it right now, you're going to pay more.

I second the used craigslist route. I bought a hyperlite voyager 124 with bindings on cragislist for $75.

They just need something to learn on, then you can upgrade if they really like it.
