I just bought 2012 CWB Faction bindings and a 2012 138 CWB transcend Wakeboard. The faction bindings are attached via lockjaw clamps, but the clamps themselves are not touching the board. Is this how it is suposed to be? The bindings ripped out of my old board (tore the sockets right out) and I dont want that to happen again to my new board, so any help would be appreciated. Here is a link to a picture showing my concern, http://imgur.com/Fjyxn .

I've never had them but that doesn't look right. Have you tried talking to CWB? I'd imagine the bracket should lie flush to the board though.

I had lockjaw clamps with my last bindings, but they were metal and did lay against the board.

The only thing I can think of that may be causing that is you don't have the jaws situated properly all the way into the teeth on the binding. Other than that, you may want to give Connelly a call and see what they have to say.

Those clamps should come down on the binding. They are called the slim lock jaw. Have you pulled the insert out? I would remove the screw and move the binding over to another hole and see if you can get the binding clamp to screw all the way down on the board. There should not be any space between the binding clamp and the board. The space will cause the insert, binding plate and board to become damaged when riding that way.
