Which boat?

1999 Super Air Nautique, 2003 Mobius LSV, 2001 Tige 21V RE, 2002 Sanger V210. I am looking for a v-drive with all the fixins for under 25k. These are all local boats for sale. They all have PP and Ballast (except no ballast on the Tige-as expected).

My needs? I mainly wakeboard. I suck, but I go pretty big. I love a huge wake that can take me either in the flats, or wake to wake. I also enjoy a good surf when the conditions aren't great.

Any other recommendations? I have been looking at pretty much all the inboard brands as they pop up, but this is what is available at the moment.

Go look at all three of them and ride behind them all. Whichever meets your needs best you should get. In the end you won't regret riding behind them all to find the right one.

I have a SAN, so obviously am a fan... Though I think the tower on the '99 is an eyesore....

The Sanger V210 gets a lot of love, no experience..... The hump on the engine cover bugs me....

jamespjackson95 is right, go ride behind them all, I'm sure you can get a great wake and a decent wave out of all of the listed.

I have a 02 Tige 21V with the spray pockets filled in and love it. It throws a very good wakeboard wake and a good surf wake as well. I have 600's in the rear lockers, 200's under the seats up front and a 400 i put in the mid. Tige's where built like tanks from 99-02 and weigh a lot. Mine weighs just under 4k before gas and gear. But i agree with what the other guys said and drive them all if you can. I would weigh them down with whatever type of ballast they come with as well.

SCOTTY83, any wake pics of that Tige? Sounds like a sweet setup, clean boat to.

Yeah I will see what I can dig up. I don't know if I have many. I have only had the boat for a little over two months. Here is a pic of the surf wake with 600 in the rear locker and 200 up front and 5 people on the boat. It is hip high. I will take more pics later this week when I take my boat out again.

The pic above was from this past weekend. Really choppy conditions and our second time surfing behind the boat. We haven't optimized the surf wake yet. We will see how big we can get it in a few days.

Lol man I have a 8 year old boy that I can't convince to try wakeboarding so I take the tube out and deflate it when he is done with it. It doesn't always stay there.

Haha I was just messing with you, we tend to pull out the super mable when we have large groups and the water goes to crap, girls tend to love the laid back easiness of the mable. Has the 8 year old ever tried, b/c if he does he'll get the bug! Smile
