Posted: Jul 28, 2006 7:20 am Post subject: Lisfranc Foot Injury Wakeboarding..... anybody? |
|
|
Back on June 3rd I crashed and was diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury in my right foot with separation of the ligament which required surgery on June 13th. (1 screw through my 1st and 2nd met). I had done a search and found a couple of guys that had this a year or two ago wakeboarding. I was just checking to see if anybody out there has had this injury and how your recovery went. I go for my 6 week follow up later today and it feels pretty good and like I could walk on it but I don't think doc will let me for 2-4 more weeks. Any info would be greatly appreciated! _________________ www.midwestmilitia.net |

old post revival, but how did this turn out for you guys?
I just had a lisfranc fracture and got screw put in last friday. Season is over, but looking forward to recovery and that first chance to walk again.
my 2nd metatarsal broke where the lisfranc ligament attached so that part was screwed back on, also through the 1st metatarsal. happened at a cable park. no idea how I fell, just felt the pain. |

hate2party - that sucks 2 years back to back. Did they both happen while boarding? same bindings?
I am wondering if my bindings had something to do with it. They have 2 1/2 seasons on them, other people have worn them, and are pretty flexible now compared to what they used to be. Thinking maybe I need a new stiffer pair. |
