|
|
Sorry if this is a topic that's rehashed often but I couldn't find any old threads about it.
I was wondering how many hours people spend riding on the water each week and how many sessions they put in each week, whether it's wakeboarding, wakesurfing, wakeskating, whatever.
Myself - I usually put in 2-3 sessions a week, but only at 15-20 minutes apiece. So really less than an hour of riding time a week. I feel like my body could withstand a lot more than that and I wish I could spend more time riding each week, but it's not really possible at the moment. |

usually 2-3 days a week.
2-3 sets per day
30-45 minutes per set.
we used to ride 1 hour+ per set, but realized that was hurting progression more than helping _________________

On average probably once a week, 2 sets of about 25 minutes. Wish I could ride every day... _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

| Here's another way to look at it, what about distance? We have a section of lake that is about 1.5 miles long, so we just run laps. A set is usually 4.5 to 6 miles then we swap riders. |

I try to wakeskate once or twice behind the seadoo and ride at least once a week. Lake Hartwell is so low I have to drive nearly 40mins to a ramp that I can put in at... I live 5 mins from the lake though |

i used to hate how low Hartwell was when I was at Clemson!
I try to ride 2x a weekend on Lake Murray now. If it was closer to Charleston I'd ride more! |
