Like days like today....at Boardstop

I like working the phones at boardstop on days like today.... I get a call from a customer and we start talking ballast. He is slamming a Mastercraft and I am working with him on what he needs. I hook it up for him and it turns out this customer rides the tour and just started the tour last season. Really great kid on the phone. He has been riding since 2010 and this is the last edit he did in March of this year. 2 years behind a boat. Are you kidding me? 2 years?

this hand must have ridden almost every day for two years, even with an insane amount of natural talent and riding every day for two years it doesn't seem possible, did he ride cable before or something? regardless great riding right there

Since he was in highschool doing gymnastics and I think state ranked at that he really could not risk riding and getting hurt. He started riding after graduation and has been at Dave brisco's camp for the past 2 summers. I think the high level of competition has helped him with the fast learning curve.. I remember another superstar gymnastic person that learned a huge bag of tricks in her first summer and Dallas Friday has been killing it since. Going to keep my eye on Dante and see how he progresses.

I think he was top in his state. maybe held a few state records.
