I hate to be writing this post, but unfortunately its time that we have to sell our 2008 Calabria Pro-V. My brother and I bought this boat brand new from Hipp Marine in 2008 (Our second new boat from Hipp). With the cost of starting a new business, and finishing up grad school, we just don't have time and money to use the boat as much as we used to. It is in absolutely perfect shape, and has always been professionally maintained at Hipp Marine. Meticulously cleaned, washed, and flushed after every use. Tons of extras and an insane stereo system and custom fabrication thanks to DBG Concepts (www.DBGconcepts.com) - more on that later.

The Pro-V features the most unique and innovative ballast system in the industry. It has a built in 700 lbs of ballast that are gravity fed and fill in under a minute and drain within 15 seconds (you can separately control filling and draining the port and starboard sides). No waiting for pumps to fill and drain so you can get a mediocre wake - this thing has a huge wake when its sacked out, perfect for big airs and wakesurfing all day long. There is simply not a better wake on any boat. Perfect Pass is integrated too, so no more screwing around trying to keep it on plane and adjusting speed, just kick back and drive! Has a fully adjustable wake plate so you can fine tune your wake and dial in for different water conditions. Has one of the most unique and stylish wakeboard towers on any boat in the industry, with integrated lights. Includes 2 sets of custom billet-aluminum wakeboard racks from DBG Concepts.

It's got the Mercury Black Scorpion 330hp fuel injected v8 that hauls ass! Engine specs here on the Calabria website: http://calabriaboats.com/index_files/Page1230.htm. Oil has been changed every year regardless of hours, and Hipp Marine has all of the maintenance records on it. We are very close with the team at Hipp (our boats have been used in their commercials, and we have taken our boat to support them at their yearly River Rendezvous), and they have done everything possible to help us keep this boat in excellent shape. The boat only has just over 120 hours on it. Used 99% of the time at San Vicente, El Cap, and the Colorado River. Been in salt water 3 times in Mission Bay for the power boat races. Boat had full service completed last year in December with everything lubed and inspected, the throttle and steering cables completely replaced, and new higher capacity bilge pump installed. Wheel bearings on the trailer have been filled every time before towing. They include Bearing Buddies so you can see when they are low on grease and easily fill them up. Prop has been upgraded to a custom ($1000) ACME 4 blade, 19 pitch prop to get you up on plane in seconds even with a full crew on board. Takes a few mph off the top end, but it is ideal for wakeboarding (think of it as re-gearing your car...its much faster off the line).

Includes a fresh water flush system that was installed by Hipp Marine, but we have also installed a custom flush system with a Stainless Steel Perco Valve fitting mounted on the transom. This allows you to easily hook up a hose to the transom for flushing the engine without having to use the stock flush. No more crawling around in the engine compartment, or hooking up the suction cup underneath the hull. Professional installation, and works great!

Its the largest boat in the Calabria line, and seats 15 people at capacity (very comfortably seats 10-12). The Pro-V is 23'6" with the swim step on the back (step is 30"). Comes with custom made galvanized and black painted Trail-Rite trailer. Trailer has custom rims too. 55gal tank, runs on 87 octane. Has built-in hot and cold water shower in the transom.

Custom graphics are within the gel coat - no stickers or flashy decals that peel off. Everything on this boat is custom made and of the highest quality.
