hey im new to this site, so whats up everyone!
im from rochester, new york, and im just getting back into boarding.

now ive been watching the LEARN WAKE youtube videos and they've been very helpful, i checked out their website yesterday and it looked really great. they have a ton of video how-to's.
i tried to subscribe to the site and it couldnt be processed, it was a little weird. google said the site was compromised when i did a search for it.

i checked back today and it was hacked by some tunisian hacker. now the page is just a music video saying why islam is better and more correct than other religions.
what gives?

has anyone used this site in the past? was it any good before it got hacked?

Wow, that sucks. Scumbag hackers. Evil or Very Mad

Learnwake is definitely legit. Kyle Schmidt and Mike Mclin are the brains behind the operation. They were involved in the creation of "The Book" wakeboard and wakeskate instructional videos, widely considered to be the best video instruction available. Kyle is the head coach at The Wakeboard Camp in Clermont and is recognized as a top riding coach.

At least you learned that Islam is better and more correct than other religions, though. So you've got that going for you, which is nice.....

no problems from them and i've been a member for almost two years, send an email to them with your concerns and they might could activate you a trial account without the cc info required, they are good people and visit here often i believe

yea i subscribed and it still didnt work after i paid for the subscription.
i sent them an email and about 20 min later kyle emailed me explaining the problems theyve had. he said they have it cleaned up and the personal info is on a private server, so its safe
he cancelled my subscription, refunded my money, and gave me a free month; pretty nice if ill say so myself.

Mike and Kyle have been around the industry for a long time. They have trained a number of people and helped correct a bunch of rider problems over the years. We promote them and have for a long time here at Wakeboarder.com.

If they did have a hack hopefully they will get it fixed. Mike does all the web stuff and he will figure it all out on the computer side. Kyle will fix and help you with your riding.

Enjoy the free month and see if you want to stay with them after that.

I'm a member and agree with everyone here: Legit site and well worth $10 a month. 3 gallons of gas cost that much, these guys earn it!

Best of luck,

Dusty

I don't use the site but wanted to give another shoutout to Kyle for being generally really awesome and an outstanding coach. You'll be in good hands for sure and your riding will definitely improve if you listen to what they say.

I need a lot of help but I would rather have someone in the boat with me telling me what I'm doing wrong.

what do you need help with?

honestly ive never seen anything like these videos. you can learn a lot from home. its easier than having an experienced rider with you every time you go out, personally thats difficult because i dont know many people who ride.

you can also send in video clips and kyle or whoever will analyze your riding. they tell you exactly what youre doing right and wrong, and usually release a video of their analysis.
i think they have pretty awesome coaches

I joined a month ago and I love it $10 is nothing I love doing their drills. I would only say they need more beginner videos, outside of that well worth it.

Yes, you watch the videos over and over and plant them in your mind then do it. There are things I would just not think of on my own. I have gotten better and I am using it to teach my Daughter. I am going to buy an I Pad to bring with us out on the boat. That will be the ultimate learn session for us.
