I am a cable rat and won't get a chance anytime soon to get to try either of these boots on. I know they ST's are cheaper but I may be able to get some of the price taken off the systems. Any opinions on either binding needed!

for cable, the systems is probably a better idea because when you get out of your board you can RUN back to the starting dock with the boots on, AND carry a lighter board

True, but the Shredtowns have a nice liner to walk in as well. Lighter on the foot but heavier board. ah the dilemma.

tried both, the ST's are way more comfy when your walking around. the systems feel more like a snowboard boot.

Both feel great to walk in, but I'm not sold on the riding feel of the Systems. They just didn't feel as responsive as I was expecting. Since you won't get to try them, you probably shouldn't risk so much money on such a radical product because it's a love-hate deal. Unless you're a snowboarder, I'd go with the Shredtowns.

welp, looks like ST's is more than likely IF I can find my size. I have small feet. So I might defer to the RADs
